Introduce yourself to Cleveland’s new upscale, mixed-use waterfront district.

Flats East Bank is rising in downtown Cleveland. Located where the Cuyahoga River meets Lake Erie, the $500 million development will offer a new vibrancy, and unparalleled, panoramic views of the water and downtown.

Opening in spring 2013, phase I of the development will include a state-of-the-art office tower with an open-air rooftop deck for tenants Ernst & Young and Tucker Ellis & West LLP, among others. The initial phase will also include a 150-room boutique Aloft hotel by Starwood, a variety of restaurants, entertainment offerings, a 16,000+ square foot health club, and inviting public gathering space including a 1200-foot riverfront boardwalk, and an urban beach.

But that is just the start. Phase II will usher in a 140-unit residential complex along the water, additional restaurant offerings, and unique  retail/entertainment selections The long-awaited mixed-use neighborhood will pump fresh life into Cleveland’s riverfront.

There has long been a clamor and call to make Cleveland’s waterfront more accessible, to tastefully and respectfully integrate it with quality and a unique touch. Flats East Bank will offer connectivity on the waterfront unique to downtown. The new neighborhood is easily accessible from Hopkins International Airport  via Rapid Transit and just minutes from downtown attractions including the Rock Hall , the East 4th Street entertainment district, Playhouse Square, the new Medical Mart and Cleveland’s professional sporting venues.
